This year in video taught me so much! I learned both entertainment filming and convergence filming. Technology wise I learned how to use the program Premiere Pro. It was important because I used it all year and I will use it in the next to years of e-comm. I only faced a couple of technology problems but I eventually got help and corrected mistakes. Collaboration really came in handy this year because we had to many group projects. It was important to learn becasue we did it so often. The only time I ever faced problems was when we needed to film things and none of us could all meet at the same time. Communication was key this year to working in groups. It was important to use this skill because we had to communicate and learn how to work with everyones schedule. I didn't not face a lot go problems with communicating because everyone would contribute and try to make things work for them as well. I learned Project management is very important because filming and editing these projects is a lot of work and if we do not have it done in time you don't get a good grade. I faced a couple of challeneges with this because sometimes filming would take longer than we expected. Leadership I learned is important when you are filming entertainment because you need to get a certain amount of clips done in a certain amount of time so we need a t least on leader that will help show us the way and control the situation. I did not face any challenges with this because either I or one of my group members would always keep everyone in check.
My greatest strength was editing! I really edited quick, fast cut shots which made my projects more interesting. My biggest weakness was getting enough shot for b-roll in convergence. My biggest weakness in entertainment was actually being creative.
I am going to take what I have learned and carry it over to convergence this next school year. I wouldn't change anything for sophomore video class because it gave you the best of both worlds.
Overall I am extremely excited to move into ONW NOW next year and take what I have learned this year and transfer it over! Thank you Mr.Cooper!!!!

Reflection-Animation
This year in animation has taught me so much! I've learned things like special effects, green screen, 3D modeling, and so much more! Technology wise I have learned how use two different programs called After Affects and Maya. I learned how to use it through tutorials and youtube videos. It was important to learn how to use it because we used it all year! I faced a lot of challenges learning how to use these programs because there are a lot of tools win each program and it can get confusing if you accidentally press the wrong button. Collaborating this year with the people next to me defiantly helped me get through my projects. It was important to have the people around me help me because I most likely would not finish any projects if they did't help me. I never faced challenges with collaborating because the whole class was great the whole year! Communication was defiantly important to learn this year because I had to learn to talk to people I didn't know very well. I learned it by listening respectfully and giving feedback to my group mates. I never faced any challenges because I am a talkative person anyways so it was easy to learn this skill. Project Management was something I learned you cannot take lightly. It was important to learn because if I didn't turn something in on time I wouldn't pass. I only faced challenges with this when I was out of town on the Friday projects were due but that next Monday I got it turned in. Leadership I learned is important when you are in a big group. It was important because if you do not have one person that gives tasks to people in the rest of your group than your group lacks to turn projects in on time. I didn't face any challenges along the way because everyone is good listeners!
My greatest strengths is leading and giving tasks to people when they are confused or done with their part of their project. My biggest weakness was using some of the programs but it got better as the year progressed. I still need to work on things in After Affects if I use it in the future because it could help me in the future. I am going to take what I have learned in animation this year and transfer my knowledge into convergence next year. The only thing I would change for this class would be my first big project in quarter one because my complete project was just garbage honestly.
Overall this year was a great learning experience for animation and I cannot wait to see how I will use these skills in the future!

Technical Tutorial-Video
The skill that I am going to demonstrate is color correction. The purpose of this is to be able to access the correction skills so when your movie clip is either oddly bright or a weird shade of blue you can fix it in premier pro. My intended audience is mainly for anyone who is using premier pro because it is good to have the skill so you do not have to research it every time.
1. The first thing you will want to do is import your clip you want to correct.
2. Find the bar at the top of the page and select color
3. A pop up menu on the side should appear and it will have two color wheels on the side. You should be able to correct any coloring issues with the tools on that tool bar
4. Then you can correct how you would like it to look!!!!

Plausible Impossibles
Plausible Impossibles
In the clip with Donald Ducks cousin Gus Goose, Gus has a very large appetite. A Plausible Impossible occurs when Donald Duck opens the door after Gus Goose knocks multiple times. Gus continues to hit Donald in the head because he doesn't realize that Donald has opened the door. This causes Donald's head to make noises that sound like dropping metal. It's impossible for someones head to make the noises that Donald's did. It could be plausible because he hits Donald's head so hard with a wooden umbrella hook so maybe Donald just had some screws loose.
In this short action when Donald realizes Gus is his cousin he puts his hand out for a handshake. Gus shakes Donald profusely up and down and moves him side to side as well. This is impossible because there is no way someone could shake another persons hand so hard that it shakes them that hard. But in the plausible perspective Gus is almost twice the size of Donald so the weight and height difference could help Gus shake Donald that hard.
When Gus smells the food Donald has prepared for himself, Gus goes ahead and sits down in Donald's seat and starts eating the food on the table. Gus grabs a piece of corn and started eating it so fast that it sounded like a typewriter making the ding sound and then having to push it back. Donald looks at him and starts watching him eat it like a typewriter and then Donald's head also follows the typewriter pattern. This is impossible because no one can eat corn that fast and then make it sound like a typewriter. But for the plausible explanation of it, it he is still twice the size of Donald so he can eat more/faster.
While Gus is eating he up piles some sandwich bread and some sandwich meat. Gus shoots it into his mouth and swallows the big sandwich. When he did this he made his throat look like an accordion. Then his head bobbles up and down like an accordion. Also it makes the sound like an accordion to get across what the animators were trying to portray with the image of Gus's neck. This is impossible because no ones neck can turn into an accordion and move up and down. But from the plausible perspective of it, some people might get that feeling after eating to fast and swallowing too big of a bite.
As the last plausible impossible in this clip I have chosen the par where Gus's stomach starts to bark. Donald is fed up wit Gus eating all of the food at the table so he brings out the "Barking Hot-dog" that "gets rid of any hungry relative." When Donald offers this to Gus he swallows it down right away and then Donald acts as a cat to anger the hot-dog. Then the hot-dog in Gus's stomach chases Donald down. Donald laughs in amusement because it is a odd situation This is impossible because there is no such things a barking hot-dog that chases you down through someones stomach. But it is plausible because someone could portray it has a hungry stomach barking for food.

Movie Trailer Review
Overall I thought this project was not good. I though the idea of the project was creative and I was excited about completing it but when it came to shooting there was some struggles. The celtx website helped my group a lot when it came to organizing shots and the script. When it came time to shoot my groups video it took a long time. The process was very long and some of my group mates did not help completely. Also it was difficult to find the right actors that could actually shoot when we needed them to. With this it made the process longer and harder for the group and me. I would not recommend this project to others unless they actually have set aside time to shoot and collect all their clips.

http://blog.digitaltutors.com/workflow-tips-from-the-fantasy-ui-artist-behind-arrow-and-the-flash/
In the article it mainly describes how to get yourself started in After Effects. The article tells you how you should set key frames, render, and move objects. The author does no provide an argument he just lists how to use after effects. The authors strengths is explaining in detail how to use the program. But his weakness he portrays is not providing enough information about how to start the project. He just expects you to understand how to start it. The authors general conclusions the he lists is to just have fun with the project and not get frustrated! My critique would be that the author needs to list reasons why after effects is helpful for animating. But I will use After effects for my projects in class!

The scope of the movie Finding Dory was to add another movie to the sequel of Finding Nemo. The purpose of the movie was to enlighten children minds and entertain them. The story that was told was how the blue fish, Dory, got lost from her home. She was lost at a young age and she forgets things easily so when she was trying to find her way back she could not remember. An element I would apply to my work would be the different variations of color the movie includes. With all the bright colors it makes the movie more interesting. One element I have already learned is the use of the puppet tool that the movie used often. The creator made creative graphics and included many new and interesting characters. I think the work does not need to be improved because it is such a good movie in general! Overall I though the movie was very cute and almost all children would love it!
